NOVATEL WIRELESS, INC.( 2012 - Current

Experienced Senior Product Engineering Manager

Senior Product Engineering leader responsible for managing multiple product

development teams to ensure overall quality, content and delivery schedules

for a number of Mobile Connectivity (Embedded LTE, MiFi/Hotspots & Gobi)

and M2M Devices across multiple technologies: WiFi, CDMA & UMTS/LTE.

Overall responsibility for software delivery (using Agile methodologies)

while working very closely with the H/W and Mechanical teams on the overall

product development to ensure alignment with product requirements. The role

also mandates cross-functional team leadership responsibilities across a

number of groups such as Software Testing (SQA) and System Test and

Certification group, while working in tandem with Product Management and

Sales/Marketing to fulfill company's technology and business objectives.

Actively involved in Senior Executives weekly review meetings geared

towards progress reporting of individual programs.

Working-knowledge of carrier engagements (Verizon, AT&T and Sprint) and

carrier certification activities (GCF, CPE-Lab, PTCRB, AVL) in order to

deliver quality product on time. Responsible for various process

enhancements activities across these groups, successfully rolling out

executive (JIRA-based) dashboards to ensure the required high quality

product with the desired TTM. Our product delivery cycle utilizes and

deploys Agile Methodologies and the software release cycle is controlled by

our Change Control Board (CCB) dedicated to the cross-functional control

over the requirements and SW and HW issues for any given release, chaired

to control and monitor all MiFi products delivery; this has now become

the de facto approach for all CCB and quality and certification

activities.

. TTM Success Stories: Successfully delivered high quality SW for MiFi 500

LTE Launch for Sprint, with a substantial pull-in of the initial

schedule, to meet company's business/financial objectives, followed by a

quick succession, the delivery of the SW for Verizon Voice 4G LTE

router, a new disruptive product in the market place.

SMITH MICRO SOFTWARE, INC. ( 2008- 2012

Experienced Senior Technical Program Manager

Managed programs for connectivity application software products for PC-OEM

customers including DELL and HP, and carriers such as Verizon. Help define

SoW for customized integration projects for Tier 1 OEMs (such as Qualcomm,

Broadcom, Intel, Novatel, Sierra) and Tier 1 carriers (Verizon);

Collaborated with sales and marketing for product launch and legal
