Description: This Project was based on DECT (Digital Enhanced Chordless

Technology) Services, which is the Advanced Version of Internal

Communication Wireless Devices. With one Base Station it can

cover entire radius of 5Kms plane area under the Circle. By

installing Five Transceivers it can also covers Hill Stations

without any noise. This is totally a Full Duplex Communication.

The alignment of this communication is entirely based on LAN

Network.

Title : Product Reed-Solomon Codes For Implementing Nand

Flash Controller on FPGA

Duration : April 2012 - October 2013.

Platform : VLSI

Description: This project is proposed a (255, 231) product Reed- Solomon

(RS) code for non -volatile NAND flash memory systems. Reed-

Solomon codes are the most diversely used in data storage

systems, but powerful for burst errors only. In order to correct

multiple random errors and burst errors, another efficient

decoding algorithm is required. The product code composing of

column-wise Reed-Solomon codes and row-wise Reed-Solomon codes

may allow decoding multiple errors beyond their error correction

capability.

This project is based on a VLSI technology and the software

that used for this project is XILINX and the programming

language that has been used here is Verilog Hardware Description

Language(VHDL) which is most commonly used in the design

verification and implementation of digital logic.
