Duties and Responsibilities:
Survey and mapping tasks related to surface rights, land acquisition and
•
relocation activities
Providing technical assistance, including the design and integration of the
•
spatial database and providing guidance and training on GIS and Geodatabase
to supporting staff
Integration of GIS data and maps with the Land Information system, with the
•
aim to determine land parcels and their exact location
Implements quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures on all
•
products generated and disseminated by the Section, including geographic
data and maps
Establishing and monitoring of primary and secondary control points within
•
the SMLs(Special Mining Leases) by using various surveying instruments such
as total station and differential GPS
Coordinating and Organizing all Land acquisition activities and giving the
•
consultants guidelines on how to collect data that will suite our spatial
database for both (Survey consultants i.e. DILAPS & LAGISA and Valuation
consultants i.e. LET & JORONSA) and checking the data qualities collected
from field (Survey/GIS and Valuation data, etc.) and ensure its entry into
Land Information System (LIS) i.e. Flexi Cadastre
Preparation, Disseminating digital data into various formats & printing maps
