02-2007 – 08-2008 Structure Superintendent at Dragados Offshore.

• Adriatic LNG Project. 60 M€. For Exxon Mobile (EEUU). Main contractor; Aker Kvaerner

(Norway).

• Brief description; The structure is equipped with berthing and mooring systems forunloading LNG and can accommodate LNG carrier vessels with capacities up to 152,000m3 of LNG. The terminal receives only two or three tankers a week and transfers LNG into the two special tanks. The platform then regasifies the LNG as a controlled process. Utility systems such as power generators (4 gas turbines) and 8,000t of process equipment for LNG regasification.

• Management of teams for the construction of a reinforced concrete offshore platform. Weekly meetings attendance with suppliers. Weekly meetings attendance with the customer. Outsourced work monitoring.

• Mechanical Completion. Documental completion of all systems. Check records and punch list of all disciplines, which are mechanical equipment, structure, electrical, instrumentation and piping.

• Achievement: Changing the welding process using magnetic bases for the supports of the portable gas extraction nozzles. It was a time saving of 60% and an increase in efficiency up to 90%.
