I worked for Dietrich Industries as a machine operator for 23 years beginning in 1988 until company

closed in 2011. As a cut-to-length slitter machine operator I made adjustments to machine, performed

quality checks such as micrometer readings, length checks, width specks and camber checks. Also,

operated hand operated cranes when needed to move coils within the warehouse and received a yearly

certification to operate the crane. I worked in the shipping department when needed to help load and

band trucks for shipping.

Duties: Operated a mill machine and fed spices into the machine that would screen spices to a finer grain.
