Highlights

workflow for supplying the site with new local and AP wire content.

• Involved in implementing and refining a social media strategy for the Kingsport Times-

News that saw the company increase its referrals and engagement from sites like

Facebook and Twitter by more than 200 percent year over year. Visits and pageviews for

www.timesnews.net also more than doubled during that span.

• Recognized on multiple occasions by state Associated Press and regional Society of

Professional Journalists with awards for deadline reporting, breaking news reporting

and crime reporting.
