Greetings,
My name is David LeMasters and I am in the process of looking for new
career opportunities in the Seattle\Metro area.
I ran across your job ad for an IT Manager on craigslist and I'm very
interested in the details of the job. I'm the Technical Operations Manager
for FiberCloud and I run 5 datacenters in the Pacific Northwest. I have
many years of experience with small, medium and large IT organizations and
various types of data centers.
I have current and previous Technology Management experience and I'm
actively involved in team leadership / team building. I have a strong
desire to help people reach their potential. I also have strong project
management skills and have experience in both profit and non-profit
organizations.
I have been in the Seattle computer industry for over 30 years. I have
experience in many different areas of IT from Field Engineering,
Manufacturing, OS Software Development, Scientific Research Organizations,
specialized systems for Automated Fingerprint Identification (AFIS) and
have defined and built many technical solutions for both profit and non-
profit organizations of various sizes.
I have developed and taught a 22 month advanced course in Electronics -
Computer Services - at LH Bates College, Tacoma, WA. I was also involved
in the development of Windows NT Server/Advanced Server 3.1, and was very
involved in the IT Infrastructure for the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance when
it was first built.
I enjoy working with people of various backgrounds and cultures. I love to
help people make better technical decisions about how technology can affect
their business, and to serve and support the people using these
technologies by educating, guiding, and recommending solutions that will
fit into the IT infrastructure, without causing high cost and delays in
their business processes.
As detailed out in my resume, you'll see that I have a broad and deep range
of experience and I have been active in the technology field for over 30
years. It's these experiences and training that I have had, and a great
desire to serve and help others, that marks me as a great candidate for
this position.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Respectfully,
David C. LeMasters
