Project Manager
• Manage Houston business unit resource assignment/utilization, train/mentor a total of 40
project engineers, supervise 11 automation professionals, and wrote/manage multi-
million dollar proposals. Maintain utilization above 80%, grow PM competence in
business unit, and satisfy key clients consisting of major oil and gas companies, chemical
companies, power companies, etc.
• Successfully executed a $1.5M Greenfield Alarm Management and software
implementation project. The project featured Emerson DeltaV and Yokogawa CS3000
CAMS DCS software interface programming/configuration, alarm rationalization,
implementation and software deployment at platform. Starting from scratch, managed the
team to program and deliver a quality product on-time in 3 years duration and to a 54%
gross margin target.
• Managed a $1.3 M Brownfield Alarm Management services and software
implementation interfacing Emerson DeltaV, Yokogawa CAMS system and Honeywell
Experion systems. Completed the 2.5 years long project before time and to the client’s
satisfaction despite inheriting the project with a major documentation labor estimate error
in the proposal and other software challenges. Finally delivered the project to a 44%
gross margin target.
• Supervise, coach, and motivate project team, including Project/Technical Leads,
Project Engineers, Project Coordinators, Project Administrators, Programmers and
Accountants.
• Engineered various engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures. Work
extensively on minimizing the company’s exposure and risk on projects.
• Review and update work processes and best practices to improve project quality and
