Reporting to the AVP Financial Planning and Revenue Cycle, responsible for system wide strategic
direction, transformation and leadership of health information management across the HQ enterprise.
• Following a comprehensive assessment of HIM across HQ, developed an HQ HIM Transformation
Strategic Plan encompassing transitioning the HIM organization to a corporate structure; the
optimization and standardization of HIM business processes and systems in alignment with the
$60M HQ “Monarch” Transformation project focused on transforming clinical/business processes
and systems to an electronic medical record.

record management operations in HIM supporting over 3000 record requests per day as well as
across the HIM operations over the 11 primary care clinics (COPC’s) across the Dallas region.
• Implemented the suite of Epic EMR modules including the successful 2008 implementation of Epic
Chart Tracking, Chart Deficiency and ROI applications.
