Professional Experience
Hardware engineering specialist: peopletec corporation, Oct2014-present (weekly hours varied with
mission)
Subcontractor for Northrop Grumman as a hardware integrator for the Joint Tactical Ground Station (JTAGS)
P3I program. Assist with the research, design, development and testing of computing components to include
implementation, modification and enhancement in accordance with specification. Develop technical
specifications for production, analyze hardware configuration and processing solutions. Maintain a wide
variety of computer, laboratory and scientific systems and equipment, with a working knowledge of power
distribution and electronic principles. Performed installs of racks and rack mount equipment to include: UPS,
servers, routers, switches, fiber patch panels, rack power modules, cryptographic equipment, KVM's. Ran and
terminates fiber, CAT6, and RF cabling. Installed commercial antennas and their relevant equipment such as
upconverters, downconverters, fiber modems, spectrum analyzers, antenna controllers, etc. Tested and
evaluated interoperability with commercial off the shelf (COTS) and Government furnished equipment (GFE)
while utilizing proper cable management techniques.
TACTICAL RADIO technician: Charter Trading, Sep2011-may2013 (weekly hours varied with mission)
In charge of configuring and maintaining all radio systems on Soto Cano, AB. Provide training to foreign
nationals, military, and other government personnel on radio operations. Perform procedures and processes
used in operations, maintenance and logistics actions. Configuration and operation of the LMR network
providing radio services for Soto Cano, AB and the surrounding 100mile area. Coordinated with foreign and
government agencies to perform system maintenance and troubleshooting on public address system.
Maintenance of the joint operation center’s UHF, VHF, HF, and LMR radios. Responsible for the maintenance
and configuration of the VICOM RoIP system. Performed duties of reading and interpreting schematics, block
diagrams, implementing ASIs, processing SARs/SAAs requests with frequency manger utilizing the Remedy
ticketing system; using test equipment and hand tools; repairing electrical/electronic cables and connectors;
localizing malfunctions and repairing or replacing faulty parts and subassemblies; operating, aligning,

adjusting, calibrating, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment. Actively test and troubleshoot
equipment, to component level, using various test instruments to include, communication system analyzers,
signal generators, oscilloscopes, scalar network analyzers, power meters, spectrum analyzers, bit error rate
testers, multimeters, and other basic test equipment. Utilized COMSEC equipment and procedures, including
configuring, keying, and operating KG 175D, AN/PYQ 10, KYK 13, and KG 250 devices. Directly supported
ARSOUTH, AFSOUTH, SOUTHCOM, DEA, and other organizations. Deployed and maintained equipment in
tactical environments throughout Central and South America.
U.S. Air Force: (2E153) Ground radio Technician, May2002-May2011 (weekly hours varied with mission)
Completed 9 years Active Duty with the U.S. Air Force. Participated in providing tactical/humanitarian
communications throughout Central America, Europe, Africa, Central Asia and the Middle East. Specific
duties and achievements include: Installed, operated, and maintained AN/PSC 5 tactical satellite radios in
demand assigned multiple access (DAMA), and non secure voice, data and facsimile configurations, and in an
airborne platform as a Joint Crisis Management Capability (JCMC); various Harris radios(PRC 117(F)(G),
PRC 150, PRC 152) tactical radio in HPW, SATCOM, non secure voice, data and facsimile configurations;
international maritime satellite phones in plain text, secure voice and high speed data configurations; tactical
GPS units(PLGR, DAGR); AN/PRC 148 Thales radios in SATCOM, secure and non secure voice; multiple
versions of land mobile radio (LMR) systems; SADL radios; Link 11 and Link 16 TADIL radio networks and
associated cryptographic and test equipment valued at $13,000,000. Operated mobile power generating
equipment and a wide range of vehicles in a tactical environment. Preformed periodic preventive maintenance,
troubleshooting, and repair of equipment in a timely manner. Documented maintenance actions, ordered and
installed replacement parts, and assisted with deployment technical inspections. Directly supported the

component level. I also have limited experience with Link 11 and Link 16 TADIL networks.
