Parts Quality Team Lead

Manage Parts Quality department ensuring incoming material conforms to

specified Quality requirement and parts are available to Manufacturing when

needed. Drive 8D process for suppliers Activities include:

. Manage Incoming Quality/Metrology Lab and a team of Quality

Engineers/Technicians.

. Ensure adequate resources and plan inspection/measurement activities

to maintain uninterrupted supply of materials to manufacturing.

. Key player in implementing Vertu's QMS and implementing/maintaining

. Manage and develop suppliers through use of APQP and PPAP.

. Created the new NCM (Non-Conforming Material) process which I received

Warehouse staff, optimizing and aligning how issues was dealt with in

the beginning to get buy in and minimize resistance when the new

process was rolled out.

Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE)

Program Sourcing Quality Manager (PSQM)

Responsible for driving continuous improvement and focusing on supply

quality development and industrialization of suppliers' production

capability and assembly. Primary liaison between internal factory and

Supplier quality teams supporting through NPI phase ramp up. Activities

include:

. Manage suppliers' performance through audits; build feedback reports,

corrective actions and continuous improvement.

. Develop and implement 2 tier suppliers to ensure continuity among

suppliers delivering to Nokia manufacturing sites, and to meet the

lowest possible supply chain cost and rapid delivery.

through the CQP (Component Quality Planning) process by assessing

. Facilitate with mechanics team and suppliers to define and refine

2008)

Supplier Reliability Test Specialist

Responsible for testing of mechanical assemblies at supplier facility to

ensure form fit and function to Nokia specifications and standards.

Managing and monitoring the continuous improvement process by establishing

corrective and preventative action planning with suppliers.

. Created process that pushed all reliability tests possible to perform

at part level out to supplier to shorten the turnaround time. This

made following possible.

o Test results were available 4-6 weeks earlier.

Mechanical Test Engineer

Responsible for defining test strategy to sign off a given product and

validation during NPI prior to ram-up.

. Managed cross site workgroup between four Nokia sites aligning

requirements and procedures when outsourcing test activities.

Following improvements was a result of this.

o Documentation and requirement from suppliers that performed test

activities was aligned, decreasing confusion from supplier and

more comparable result across Nokia sites worldwide.

o Different Nokia sites looked like one company when outsourcing

test activities to a supplier.

o Decrease travel expenses as a supplier visit from one site could

cover the need for an additional visit from another site.
