Ms.Sargent is responsible for facilitating and directing the day to day
EH&S operations for 78 construction workers on a site with revenues of over
6 billion. She has successfully implemented a proactive safety management

Ms. Sargent was responsible for implementing health and safety programs at
multiple facilities in the Northeast Region. Assisted area managers in the
region by formulating policies, procedures and guidelines regarding health
and safety issues. Conducted health and safety audits identifying potential
hazards, developed and provided employee training and assisted with
reduction of workplace incidents. Ms. Sargent ensured compliance with OSHA,

Managed and directed the daily operations for environmental health and
safety for 75 sheet metal employees at two semiconductor projects with
revenues of over $5 billion. Ms. Sargent was responsible for the overall
compliance of federal, state, local, and site specific environmental health
and safety regulations. She successfully revamped the company's inadequate
safety management system resulting in a significant reduction in the
injury, incident and near miss rates as well as reducing OSHA citations.

all personnel and oversaw the design of the employee handbook and employee

Responsible for environmental health and safety coordination for a $4.5
billion semiconductor facility supporting project management and the EHS
department for the 1,200 plus project management, site safety
representatives, support personnel and craftsmen. Responsible for daily
safety audits identifying potential hazards and taking appropriate steps to
mitigate risk. Lead construction investigation analysis (CIA's)
investigating, recording, analyzing injuries, incidents and near misses to
identity root causes and implement corrective action. Ms. Sargent was an
active member of the Construction Emergency Response Team (CERT),
responding professionally to medical and environmental emergencies.
Prior to serving as an EHS manager, Ms. Sargent worked more than 15 years
as a union millwright and welder in Skowhegan, Maine Local Union #320 and
Albany, New York Local Union #1163. She participated on environmental
health and safety teams in nuclear, gas, steam and auxiliary equipment at
power plants, paper and cement mills, and glass and fiberglass
manufacturers. Collaborated with plant managers, engineers, supervisors,
quality control, EHS representatives and craftsmen to identify health and
safety hazards and implement corrective actions. First woman graduate
Journeyman A of the State of Maine's millwright/carpenter apprenticeship
program.
