IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) operate various hotel brands - Inter

Continental Hotels, Holiday Inn Hotels, Holiday Inn Express, Stay bridge

Suites, Candlewood Suites, Crowne Plaza Hotels, Hotel Indigo etc. IHG has

more guest rooms than any other hotel company in the world with more than

4,200 hotels across nearly 100 countries. Our guests make over 180 million

stays in IHG hotels every year.

Project includes capturing all the data from a customized Sales Force

application called "IHG Javelin" into a data mart, SMART for reporting

purposes. Mostly involved in validating the business requirements against

the MART and working closely with Business and Global Technology to deliver

right and quality data through BO reports. Also re-wrote at least 35

reports in an existing MART in Oracle to a new sales data mart in Teradata

and successfully launched new reporting environment for Sales Users.

Extensively involved in migration of reports in BOXI R3.1 to R4.1 and did a

full UAT of all the 50+ reports migrating to new BO version. Worked on

providing day to day data requests and ad-hoc reports to Users and also

maintained multiple universes according to Business need.

The Texas Medicaid & Healthcare Partnership (TMHP), a coalition of

contractors headed by ACS, a Xerox company, carries out the Medicaid claims

payment for the state of Texas, under contract with the Texas Health and

Human Services Commission.

The project involved in developing the Universes for the business and also

generating the reports. Extensively worked in the migration from 6.5 to

XIR2. Migration involved around 15 universes and 100+ reports and

converting them to WebI for Healthcare division of The Texas Medicaid &

Healthcare Partnership (TMHP). We had 3 different environments

(Development, Quality Assurance, and Production). Ultimate aim of this

project is to provide Business users and customers reference data for

healthcare division and provide insight into the data using new version of

BOXI.

Responsibilities:

. Co-ordinate with the BA team for the business requirements and also

interacts with the business when required.

. Created linked Universes and universes using multiple databases/data

providers.

. Maintained the CMC in the absence of the lead to provide users with

rights to folders and reports.

. Had training sessions for the users when migration. Trained how to

create WebI reports using Info view and also trained the users on using

the Alerters, Prompts.

. Extensively used Calculations, Variables, Drill down, Slice and Dice,

Alerts in the creation of reports.

XIR2. Migration involves of 114 universe and 3460 reports and converting

them to WebI for Sales and Investment Management division of Electric

Insurance Company. We had 3 different environments (Development, Quality

Assurance, and Production). Ultimate aim of this project is to provide

divisions.
