Lead Man

Responsibilities

My main everyday task were doing vault reck outs. Which is removing old vaults/ manholes, SOE structures

because falling apart,and replacing with new structure while love cable still there. Chipping on encasement to

expose pipe while cable is live.(12kv&million cable). Watching grade while digging trench, laying pipe, shoring

trench, emergency calls for Edison in any situation of help they might need depending on what was going

wrong at that time. Setting handholes, pads, and any smaller structure. Concrete and paving know alittle.

My impact with this job was very well .. Always getting raises and moving on up the latter. I'm very well respected

and recognized as an hard and safe worker and very dedicated employe...

Skills Used

My skills performed for this trade is many of things, I am confident person trained and CPR and first aid

qualified... I have 8 years of experience in underground utilities and my responsibilities are to lay out jobs,

check grade for excavation while trenching or excavating to set structures, make sure I have right cover and

depth for my pipe laid and my structures set, laying pipe anywhere from one to twelve pipes from 2inch to 6inch

pipe ... Making grade while trenching, leveling rock to set structure on, raising vault castings to grade, setting

pads, hand holes, pullboxes, pretty much any structure... Now all specks for trade, doing vents and poring

encasement on pipe and slurry backfill... Very experienced in all types of shoring for all sorts of excavation

and soil types. Types of shoring such as solid crib shoring, shields, slide rail shoring and all way down to

your basic plywood and jack basic shoring. Also some experience on backhoe 310,410, and 710 john deer,

but only know how to run CAT and Case controlls, still leaning wobble stick controls. Pretty much very well

experienced in my 8 years of the trade as a lead man, almost Forman ready.
