SAP Experience

1 Work Experience:

1. Presently working with Gontermann-Peipers (India) Limited as Assistant

Manager (IT - SAP BASIS) from 06.08.2012 to till date.

Gontermann-Peipers (I) Ltd. (GPIL) is a ISO 9001:2000 company, was promoted

in collaboration with Gontermann-Peipers Siegen, Germany, a leading

European manufacturer of rolling mills since 1825. In 1981 the company was

taken over by the ISPAT group, since then GPI has been evolving itself to

keep pace with the dynamic business scenario and emerged as a leader in

Indian roll industry.

Project Details:

. Daily monitoring SAP servers (Spool log, lock monitoring, back

ground job monitoring, Data base buffer performance, file system

etc.).

. Online backups of Production servers (Every day), using HP Data

Protector (EVA 4100).

. Archive log backup of Development, Quality, Production (every

day) and DR server (check and confirm archives are applied to DR

Server).

. Take care of DR server if it becomes hang or halted (Login with

the ora(SID) then start listener with "lsnrctl start", in sql

prompt give command "Startup nomount", "Alter database mount

standby database", "Alter database recover managed standby

database disconnect from session".)

. Delete archive logs(from /oracle/SID/oraarch folder) on regular

intervals.

. Weakly Offline backup of Production, Quality, and Development.

. File system backup once in a month.

. Change in profile parameters.

. RFC connection create.

. Client create (SCC4), Client copy- Local(SCCL) and Remote(SCC9).

. User administration (creation, lock, unlock), password reset in

Enterprise Portal (EP) server.

. Taking Content server backup (Database Manager) once in a weak.

. Transporting requests through the configured route.

. Role (pfcg) creation and maintain.

. Increase table space(use BRTOOLS) of Production server along

with DR server (Increase the table space in production and

simultaneously create directory structure is DR, finally in

production server go to SQL prompt and give command "alter

system switch logfile;" and "commit;". This will create a log

file with the changes done).

. Support pack and Add-ons(PI_BASIS(Component), (Release)

2006_1_700, KINBC9A.CAR(file)) updates.

. Applied notes.

. Renew the SAPROUTER certificate(In usr/sap/saprouter folder .pse

& .p10 file name to be changed, then use command "sapgenpse

get_pse", enter PIN)

. Delete old transport files (usr/sap/trans/eps/in or trans/data),

Core (usr/sap/sid/DVE../work).

. Send messages to SAP from SAP service market portal.
