Achievements
• It is certainly an honor for me to work on Pakistan’s first wind power project that turned out to be a success in the first go and
producing electricity.
• Since it was the first project of its kind so I worked well establishing new sets of jobs/procedures regarding erection, supervision,
material handling, site handling, codes and standard compliance, abiding by the HSE parameters that later became SOP on
company documents.
• Prepared the SOP that became part of Contract Document, Descon official QIP, documentation and manpower utilization plan.
• Due to the fact of having good communication and interpersonal skills with people from different ethnicity, I succeeded in setting up a
very productive work environment that helped site team meet the schedule deadlines well in time.
• Led my team in achieving timely contractual milestones like Mechanical Completion Certificates, Readiness for Synchronization and
WTG Readiness for Commissioning and raised the request to WAPDA for the Grid connection in order to commission the whole
interconnection facility and complex.

Major Responsibilities
• Working as an EPC Consultant to improve the on going site works and follow up with the contractors and client.
• To develop understanding and importance of Contract document within team so as to timely accomplish schedule deadline.
• Working as a constructive and supporting element of the Project Management Team to achieve project milestones aligned with the
baseline schedule.
• To ensure project deliverables in timely manner, carry out allocated duties and adherence to quality inspection plan (QIP).
• To evaluate and approve design changes in terms of As built drawings.
• Working at Descon Manufacturing workshop on Wind Tower fabrication job.
• The method statement is used to control the operation and to ensure that all concerned are aware of the hazards associated with the
work and the safety.
• Compiling the progress status for all wind towers comprising all minute details of on going work on shop floor, which helps in
synchronizing with the project baseline schedule, planned v/s actual gap analysis, invoicing against works performed,
monitoring the overall project progress status, dynamic coordination with client and top management and expediting,
settling down the routine discrepancies, and the work front available to start new activity on priority.
• The preparation of the weekly program containing works timeline with an indication of the resources needed to accomplish.
• Fully awareness of subcontractors contracts to know their limits.

contractor (WTG supplier) to streamline forthcoming issues.
Fabrication of Wind Towers

• To look after the fabrication of Wind Tower, Fit up and welding of shell courses as per drawing, procedures and technical
specifications.

Site Experience
• Diligent supervision of all the on site Mechanical works if all mechanical activities have been executed as per dwg.
• Hands on experience on Wind Turbine Generator coupling & alignment using fixture laser device.
• Attended the training session titled ‘Safety/rescue climbing training over the Wind Turbines’ along with its certification.
• Carried out the Erection of Wind Turbines.
• Participated dynamically in completion of Punch List of Wind Turbines.
• Able to communicate fluently and clearly in English with clients, site foremen regarding technical matters.
• To maintain a healthy effective coordination between all disciplines and departments (Civil, Mechanical and E&I)
