Federal policy are paramount in making a successful aid office.

repayment, forbearance and deferment options and procedures for each. This position also requires collections
responsibilities for an internal loan product.

Default Aversion Consultant
To act as a school consultant to assist customers to lower their Federal Cohort Default Rate as required by the
U.S. Department of Education. This could include campus consultations, student presentations, and event
management. This position requires at least 90 % travel and often facilitation of meetings and events completely
independent of other TG employees.

• Active participant in TG’s Public Benefit Grant selection process; awarding millions in financial
assistance

To manage nine financial aid advisors and other department employees who oversee and manage the awarding
of financial aid to students. This position required time management and leadership skills and often included
customer contact with parents, students and other campus entities.

• Implement required customer service training for student advisors
• Enhance student the recruitment process by integrating financial aid advisors in admissions events
• Create a default aversion team and improve office procedures to lower the Federal cohort default rate
• Part of system integration team for the transition to Banner software Institute Spanish lessons for bi-
lingual advisors to improve communication with parents and students
• Create (with another administrator) a lender ranking system based on a number of factors but including
cohort default rate, customer service, and options for students. This was a regionally recognized system.

Oversee the awarding of institutional, federal and state financial aid to student athletes. This position required
monitoring of all financial aid sources (institutional and external) to be in compliance with NCAA and Big 12
bylaws. Often this position required heavy student contact as well as coordination with other campus entities and
athletic staff.

• Work closely with several campus entities to improve athletic scholarship reporting
• Improve the institutional NCAA Special Assistance Fund process
• Moderate and present sessions at the Big 12 and other conferences

A part of the Baylor Health Care System, the Baylor Radiologic Allied Health School provides training in
radiologic technology, ultrasound and nuclear medicine. The school maintains a strict student selection and
screening process.
Registrar
Manage student records as well as monitor and participate in the student application process. This position also
