Self-Pay Account Representative, Colorado Plains Medical Center, Ft Morgan,

Worked in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable departments. Have
knowledge of Smart/ Documents Direct/ Host / HMS/ Excel and Word computer
software required to carry out my duties. Besides paying invoices by
working with Purchasing, I have assisted patients with billing problems by
writing up patient concerns, settling accounts, resolving insurance issues,
correcting intake errors, taking payments and setting up payment plans.
Performed patient accounting by adjusting payments, refunding, preparing
accounts for billing, writing off bankruptcies, balancing and depositing
cash. Transferred accounts to and from various collection companies and
resolved any issues arriving from those companies. Took charge over the
financial services component by interviewing, qualifying and setting up and
monitoring accounts purchased by an outside bank. When the Business Office
Director left, was designated by the departing Director as one of the
"contact people" for those outside collection agencies and lending
institutions. Took charge of monitoring the CICP and Medicaid accounts
through the excel spreadsheet and reporting them monthly to the CFO.

Over the 18 years of lending, performed a wide range of financial services
tasks from originating loans, packaging them and selling them to secondary-
market investors to supervising branch operation including production,
reporting, and resolving customer and employee issues. As a Mortgage
Broker, used sales and management skills by motivating and lending support
to personnel in processing and analyzing files. Had to monitor every step
of the closing process, solving problems and accelerating the progress of
the loan at every stage. Generated business by contacting builders, real
estate brokers and non-profit establishments. Implemented government loan
programs targeting the underserved markets. Held group presentations to
sell these programs to the public. Being a Mortgage Broker requires
obtaining a license which entails passing State and Federal exams that test
knowledge of current lending laws. Other tasks in the financial services

my employing company in small claims court by preparing evidences in order
