• Conducted medical chart abstractions using ChartMaxx and Microsoft Excel to compile
data involving the case and the control for 137 pairs of neonates with similar diagnoses
and demographics, in order to help determine what variables made the difference for the
children with better outcomes
The goal of this project was to re-shape current claims-based reimbursement models,
which determine the level of patient severity, and ultimately determine a hospital’s
quality of care ranking.
