The project involved the development of a WAP-enabled Online Yellow Pages focusing on

Chennai and Singapore catering to information in various areas. For Chennai users, it

provided flight information about to/ from Chennai, hotels, and jewelry shops. For Singapore

users the system could provide the address for the phone no given by the users. The special

feature of this project was that, it enabled mobile users to navigate through the entire site

very conveniently.

An Intranet Application, which contains the personal Information of Employees, Project

Details like the Project done, Client info, duration, the problems faced in projects and the

solutions for that etc, Corporate Information, Programming tips for the programmers,

Information about the quality standards and online books. By providing the User Name and

their Password they are allowed to logon to the Intranet Site.

Responsibility:

My contribution was in the areas of design, coding & testing. I was handling the Personal

Information of employee as well as responsible for the programming tips for programmer

module for the knowledge management system.

Material and Production Management

Project Details:

The system involved the online maintenance of masters and transaction files, receiving of

orders processing of valid orders, reordering on the basis of stock availability, preparing

invoices, delivery vouchers. It also involved store maintenance by way of stock updating the

goods delivered to clients and back-order processing for non-available stocks. It drastically

reduced the tedious paper work and manual work and helped maintain inventory

transactions efficiently.

Responsibility:

My contribution was in the areas of design and coding. I was involved in the development of

the order entry entity bean and the stateful session bean for valid vendors. The jar files for

the beans were developed and tested on a Web logic server.

Technology: Java 1.2, EJB & Oracle 7.3.

Web Enabled Supply Chain Management System

Project Details:

The aim of this system was to develop a Java-based Web-enabled supply-chain management

system, which maintained the logistics of the company right from planning to distributions

and delivery. Supply chain system was differentiated into 2 wide sectors, Supply chain

planning, and Supply management. It included the material management module, sales &

distribution module and quality management. The database was Oracle. Front-end design

provides security accesses mechanism.

Responsibility:

My contribution covered the areas of design, coding. I developed the material management

module for the system using server side concept of servlet. This module handles the

operations of the material handling in the system right from requisition of material, request

for quotation, price comparison, issuing of purchase order, good receipt and quality

inspection of goods and issuance of invoice.

Order Entry Management System

Project Details:

This includes order master data, products, sales and report generation modules. The module

orders masters data features the order details with products, sales details, performance

tracking through starting and till executing orders, appraisal status and advance particulars.

The product module contains product availability and processing/querying. Sales module

contains the sales records and processing keying in month wise, sales. Through quotations,

status of order execution, sales reports, performance track report, month-wise sales abstract

generation and out standings.

Responsibility:

My Contribution Designed developed and installed successfully the Order Entry

Management System. This is a standalone application and my part in this project involved in

developing the product module.

Project Details: Payroll-Employee Data Banking System

This includes employee master data, transaction and report generation modules. The module

employee master data features the employee details with experience, job-log details,

performance tracking through starting and ending dates of job-log table, appraisal status

and advance particulars. The transaction module contains leave data

processing/querying/keying in month-wise, salaries for employees who are on monthly basis

and for hourly basis. The report generation module contains various categories of reports

starting from person-code-wise leave ledger, performance track report, month-wise pay slip

cum salary abstract generation, code-wise outstanding loan/advance status and monthly PF,

EPF/ IT deduction, Reports etc.

Responsibility:

I designed developed and successfully installed the payroll-employee data banking system. I

was also involved in the creation of menu forms with PL/SQL blocks & triggers.
