Mobile Mapping, Lidar

Summary :-

Developing the 3D simulation model of Austrolian Rail with help of lidar

data. Model include all feature building around the track, 139 type of rail

features with defined attributes, All the natural aliments like trees, River.

Sofware and Tool Used:- Arc Map, Microstation, Terrabuilder, Terra-

Expoler, Mapinfo

Roll :- Working as Discipline Lead for Lidar and Mobile Mapping Group.

Presently handling a group of 12 intellectual professionals with following

responsibilities:

1. Managing daily Productivity & Efficiency of the group, channelizing

resources for their optimum utilization and keeping the project within the

budget and ensuring profitability.

2. Close watch on Percentage-Process completion through analysis and

decision making from MIS. Scheduling of Projects

3. Training Vs Idle Vs production Hours analysis and decision making.

4. Interact with Clients to understand their expectations and imparts feedback

and error analysis report to Production TLs to fulfill contractual obligations.

• Project description: The work consist in Infrastructure extraction on base of

1:5000-orthophotos (Railroads,Roads,Rivers and water bodies.) Updation of

cadastral boundaries with the existing infrastructure.

• The tarla polygons and corresponding shared road captured in Tarla_limit and

Tarla_road layer respectively from cbm (1:10000) and updated with respect to

current ortho images (1:5000). All the tarla polygon must

• consists unique tarla no. (Except tarla river and tarla railways). The work order

is only for updation in extravillan(Rural) area.

Phonix

The project includes aerial photography and ground control performed by COWI

A/S, whereas Kampsax India carries out the aerial triangulation, digital terrain

modelling, orthophoto generation and update and positional accuracy

improvement (PAI) of the geographical database.

This project involved following process.

Updating of map data.

Improvement of the data.

Final quality check of the data.

Validation and final delivery of data.

GreenLand

GLP involves the digitization/vectorization of objects for Navigation Maps and

editing of data, which has been extracted by automatic vectorization. There are

two types of maps digitise and delivered, Navigation maps and Harbour plans.

Accuracy of data: Registration of features with in a tolerance of 2 pixels

• Classification of bare earth mode and corridor utility mapping.

Building, different classes of vegetation etc.

c)Prepared macros for ground classification and other features in bare earth model and

captured by the operater from the geospatial data.First gereferenced the full data

by using Online software which has given by client. Then after digitized and

validation stage ha done.
