• Nationally featured architect manager at Avnet with oversight and leadership responsibilities on multiple
concurrent engagements. Currently Chief Architect for BiometOS project (largest engagement within Avnet
Services) with overarching responsibilities for end to end technical architecture, running quick win pilots, IT
governance, and conducting process discovery workshops with the business. Single-handedly transformed
this account from a short one person advisory engagement to a $5M complex integration engagement. Lead
a team of 30 architects and engineers to create a custom signature guide solution which integrates multiple
vendor solutions from DICOM processing (MRI, X-Ray, CT), segmentation, planning, surgeon approval, and
guide design to manufacturing. The system will allow Biomet to increase volume from 2000 cases/month to

team. Technical responsibilities included directing a globally distributed team of architects to design the

• Trusted advisor to CTO on $109 million unemployment compensation modernization program for State of
Pennsylvania. My work directly impacted ~100 people on the project and enabled the state to increase the
level of service to the public in support of Tax and Benefits program. Managed application scope and system
development. Advised PMO with budget and staffing. Established program’s SOA CoE and directed SOA
governance, production of UML based design models, business process models, and services discovery
using IBM Service Oriented Architecture and Modeling (SOMA) method. Led focus teams to institute an
effective component integration test procedure and improve defect resolution process, resulting in significant
savings for IBM. Created enterprise security architecture. Implemented a technology framework (Common
Technology Enablers (CTE) Runtime Services), which resulted in savings of approximately $2M in
development cost (CTE is now a global IBM asset and is used on engagements around the world).

• Led a 50 member cross-organization (IBM, Sprint, Amdocs, & Frog Design) team based in U.S and Israel,
and spearheaded the scoping and architectural efforts for Xohm, Sprint-Nextel’s 4G WiMAX Portal Centric
Service Delivery Platform. It is the fastest fully mobile wireless broadband network in the continental US and
supports a variety of innovative revenue generating services such as a virtual digital locker, SAML based
integration with Google and other service providers for communication and collaboration services. My role
was wide-encompassing and went from planning and defining scope to execution. Created reference
service provider portlet implementation for Sprint- Nextel’s business partners. Designed and developed
