Lab Manager/Team Leader Laser Repair Depot (06/05 to 03/13)
Directed, implemented and organize a startup repair depot from a storage area to a fully
functional depot. Coordinated the hardware repair flow from Receiving, repairing the hardware, to
returning repaired hardware back to the customer. Organize and supervise technicians to
maintain high level of repair and quick turn-around of the hardware. Streamline and enhance
processes to reduce hardware repair cycle time. Within the first year Eliminated back log of
hardware to be repaired from over 100 to less than 25 units. Oversaw the production and repair
of electronic boards in the laser manufacturing area. Coordinate with supply chain, engineering
and technicians for troubleshooting, receiving replacement parts, and repairs. Collaborated with
coordinators the implementation from paper QCHR hardware tracking system to paperless
Visiprise Manufacturing production management system (VM). Maintain lab operations with no
audit findings from internal and external auditors.
Quality Assurance Engineer I / Inspector (05/04 to 06/05)
Primary QAE for the Eye-Safe Laser Lab. Inspects hardware for defects and non-conformances.
Maintains and prepares SPC data, tracking failure trends including the evaluation of top defects and
failures. Performed root cause and corrective/preventive action with follow up. Provided training for
Visiprise Manufacturing documentation. Interface with internal and government customers for final buy-
off of hardware including generating Certificate of Conformances. Conducts monthly process and
hardware lab audits, which includes planning and print verifications. Six Sigma project was to recycle
static safe paperwork sleeving thus producing company savings for the lab.

Held several Technician positions including Engineering Technician Optomechanical Senior, Reliability
Development Testing Technician, Laser Technician Senior, Product and Developing Technician Senior.
Duties includes product development. Blue print interpretation. Building complex optical and mechanical
assemblies. Fault isolation and troubleshooting of optical mechanical and electrical components.
Operation of test stations and commercial test equipment. Also maintains and prepares SPC test, and
