Analyze the in Smart plant tools from Intergraph for SP&ID, SP 3D modeling interfacing with SAP tools for preparing documentation with help of Microsoft Visio to client Oil and Gas industry, Shell – Netherland.

Analyze the different tools for various scenarios such as Mechanical Design, Electrical Design, and Instrument Design.

Performed designing the oil refinery column activities using PRO E and Auto CAD tools.

Projects undertaken:

1. Hovercraft:

The vehicle which is used to travel both in land and water.

Proto type of vehicle is prepared in wooden material.

Air bag is attached to float and propeller is added for motion in both forward and backward direction.

2. Bot with wireless:

The RC car which is used to travel for 100m with the help of radio signals.

RF transmitter and receiver are used to transfer the signal for the motion of Bot.

Relay switches are added to take care of each and every wheel motion.

3. Single arm robot with double gripper:

Used for picking and placing the object from one place to another place.

Design is prepared by using Solidworks software with simulation process.

Movement is done with the help of 5 links by servomotor and it’s controlled by PIC micro controller. PIC micro controller program is done with the help of VB scripting.

Training and Certification:

Certified as Professional in product design in Auto cad, PRO E, Solidworks and Uni Graphics (NX 7.5) Designing in CADD center.

Participated in Embedded Robotics workshop held at IIT – Roorkee in 2010.

Intergraph certification for Pipe modeling and customization.

In plant training in ASHOK LEYLAND at Ennore in Chennai on 25th June 2010.

- Viewed the process in Engine Assembly, Chassis Assembly, and Axial arrangement.

- Got an opportunity to view a complete vehicle assembly from scratch.

In plant training in G.K.Metal Alloy at Gummudipundi in Chennai on 13 June 2011.

- Viewed the molding of copper alloy for shaping into piston head and connecting rod.

- Got an opportunity to test the parameter of copper alloy using Electro Photo Spectrometer.
