● Student Development:
● Create innovative activities that stimulate, motivate, educate, and involve the student body while
promoting student learning and student success.
● Ensure the effective advisement of the Student Government including the Executive and Legislative
Branches and the Student Body Treasury.
● Ensure the effective advisement of the Union Activities Board consisting of the Black Students Board,
Diversity Activities Board and the Films, Issues and Ideas, Leisure and Entertainment and Marketing
Committees.
● Work in collaboration with Center for Student Leadership, Ethics & Public Service (CSLEPS) to
oversee the development and enhancement of programs for student organizational leaders that
teach leadership skills, ethical decision making, and prepare students to be socially responsible
global citizens.
● Champion students in challenging leadership roles that provide meaningful opportunities to
practice their leadership skills and impact change on campus and in the community.
● Oversee multiple student fee budgets and other receipts totaling over $1.3 million.
● Work with unit personnel to implement a development plan to secure necessary resources.
● Ensure student organizations are in compliance with all relevant state and university policies.
