E/P/C manager for Unocal for their West Seno Indonesian oil platform.

E/P/C manager for AGIP to make their Kazakhstan offshore oil facility at Kashagan.

Forensic cost engineering for British company 3i on Norwegian oil platform Kristin for

their investigation of purported embezzlement. I found the missing money to be

incorrect cost reports that resulted from incongruence’s between accounting of

subcontract invoices and budget set-up, which stemmed from budget WBA’s not being

revised to reflect the invoicing structure when some subcontracts were written.

Created and managed a first-of-kind business unit to support Operations & Maintenance

of offshore platforms. Initiated to serve BP as supply chain vender on their Azeri

projects in Caspian Sea, but despite great odds it quickly became a favorite conduit of

the national oil companies of Azerbaijan & Kazakhstan for import of western products

and engineering, and soon followed with engineering/construction/parts/business with

over 20 platforms in Caspian Sea, North Sea, Gulf of Mexico and southeast Asia.

• For billion$ energy projects, I estimated construction costs & labor, established cost

codes, budgets & labor details for purpose of initial project execution plans.

• Cost analysis, budgeting and scheduling to make project execution plans for billion$

coal gasification plant in South Africa.

• Completed a 1 year Fluor evening-school for elite training of cost engineering &

scheduling for oil & gas capital projects. On the side, I created a computer program that

Fluor used for parametric estimating of cost & labor for industrial piping and electrical.

• Field engineer to build five gas processing plants at Uthmaniyah, Saudi Arabia, and

construction management of the Safaniya gas plant, including role of construction

superintendent directing up to 700 multi-national tradesmen for mechanical and piping.
