EXPERIENCE: 10/2013-05/2014 Contractor at PAC Solutions, Stafford, VA,
Assigned to SAIC, Stafford, VA as Lead Systems Engineer. Activities
included gathering technical information and specifications for government
web applications being migrated to centralized virtual environments. This
information was discussed, verified and then given to the target
environment for these applications to be migrated. Information was
gathered from government agencies, contracting firms and vendors. Acted as
a technical support as well as a liaison between the migrating customer and
the target migration destination.
07/2013-09/2013 General Dynamics Information Technology, Warrenton, VA,
Software Systems Engineer. Engaged in middleware deployments and support
for a large web based government application. Support included updating
all middleware products to the latest available version. Also worked with
project managers, developers and QA personnel to improve the product. This
network included Oracle Solaris servers, IBM Websphere Data Power Xi50
Appliances and Windows machines. Software utilized included Oracle
Weblogic, Oracle Glassfish, Apache, SAS, IBM Cognos, Remedy, HP Quality

07/2012-06/2013 Contractor at Technica Corporation, Dulles, VA. Assigned to
CSC, Chantilly, VA as Senior Systems Engineer. Provided maintenance,
configuration and installation support for major government web based
application. Duties included installing, maintaining and troubleshooting
Weblogic application files in a Solaris 10 environment. Also installed
patches and updates to production and multiple test systems. Additional
duties included testing, analysis and interacting with Oracle databases on
various servers in multiple geographic locations. Also assisted system
administrators with applying OS level and application patches and updates
when needed.
08/2009-06/2012 CGI Federal, Manassas, VA Network Administrator. Duties
included the configuration and maintenance of Sun Solaris and Dell Red Hat
servers for a government customer. Was responsible for applying patches,
maintaining the security of the network, updating hardware as needed and
updating software as needed. Languages included Perl, Java, and Shell
Scripts. Supported Oracle 11g database and Weblogic 11g web server as well
as a syslog server, which collected logs and other information from the
network. Backed up logs and data to external media on a weekly basis. Also

perimeter routers.

included order inventory control of servers, coordinating with customers on
new server launches, diagnosing technical launch issues, acting as liaison

box testing on both an ad-hoc and test plan basis of the Paxfire Lookup
Engine, which consisted of one to three servers and applications that
generated click through income for ISP's. Utilized Perl and Korn Shell
