Operations Manager 2013 to Present

Roadway Construction Service

As the Operations Manager, of a small upstart traffic control company, m y duties included assisting the owner in the

development of both the field and office procedures and processes. This included managing the field operations, traffic

planning, estimating, accounting, and the human resources departments. I also provided the service to our clients as the

company’s Qualified Stormwater Profesional

Director Field Operations 2007 to 2013

Cobalt Construction Inc.

As the Director of Field Operations my duties included the managing (work force allocation, monthly billing, change order

pricing/negotiating/collection, scheduling, personnel reviews, project documentation, and close -out) of multiple projects

simultaneously. I managed the work product of multiple crews and was t he client’s contact with Cobalt regarding the civil

scope of operations. The average size of the projects I was responsible for was between $1 million to $3 million.

For a period of several months, I was in to Italy as a consultant to a solar power company (Sun Power) constructing a 45

Megawatt solar farm north of Rome. I led a team that re-designed the grading and land use plan and tried to help the local

contractor in learning mass-grading techniques as well as assisting the owner in contract management services.

Prior to my time in Italy, I was a project manager and project executive for the General Contractor side of the company where

I managed the construction of multi-family apartment projects.

General Manager

Traffic Management Inc. 2005 to 2007

As the General Manager, my duties included oversight of the entire day-to-day operations of the company. This included the

field operations, permit, and traffic planning departments, estimating, accounting (AR), and the human resources

department. My duties also included the management of two satellite offices as well as the development of new business,

both scope of work and locations.

Sully-Miller Contracting Company Project Manager 2000 to 2005

Managed various General Engineering Projects for Public Works. Projects included major Arterial Street and freeway

construction, airport improvements, and surface overlays. The scopes of work included rough grading, fine grading, base and

pave, underground, and structures. As the Project Manager for Sully-Miller on the following projects my duties included but

were not limited to field management (foreman/superintendent, manpower allocation, schedule creation and maintenance

(P3)), finance (monthly billing, change orders (claims, pricing, negotiating, collecting, month end reporting, and sub-

contractor billings/change orders), and project documentation. I often oversaw a staff of project engineers to assist in thes e

duties.

Project Manager

Security Paving Company 1996 to 2000

I performed project management duties for various General Engineering projects for Public Works. Projects included major

arterial street new construction and widening/rehabilitation primarily for the City of Los Angeles and Caltrans, airport

improvements, street overlays, wet utilities, and structures.

Southern California Senior Engineer

C.C. Myers Inc 1994 to 1996

As the Southern California Senior Engineer for several freeway improvement projects, my duties included the supervision of

the project engineers and superintendents. I was also responsible for the contract administration duties related to the project

schedules, change orders, and claims

C.A. Rasmussen Inc. 1988 to 1994

Project manager for the following projects Burbank Airport Taxiway, Rio Hondo Spreading Grounds Restoration, Cogswell

Reservoir Clean-out, and approximately two years of estimating on various public works projects.

Boyle Engineering Inc. Project Manager 1985 to 1988

As a design project manager I oversaw the design of municipal infrastructure improvements. As a construction project

manager I performed the duties of the CM for multiple local municipality projects. The most notable project being NEIAD,

consisting of seven simultaneous projects with a total worth of $50 million
