Former Positions: R&D Supervisor/Sensory Supervisor- Both positions were
eliminated do to Corporate down sizing and consolidation.
Primary responsibilities included: Analytical Testing (Peroxide Value, Free
Fatty Acid, Moisture, Fat, Salt, Foreign Material Identification, and
Solids Determination) and co-managing/implementing a plant wide HCCP
program.
Additional responsibilities included maintaining the Ingredient Release
program and full implementation of the food safety program of NFPA SAFE.
National Food Processors Association SAFE Audit - For Food Safety
We were successful in coaching/motivating the Albany Plant through the four
day 800+ question NFPA SAFE Audit. The entire activity required obtaining
permission from Senior Plant Management and Middle Management to form 4
separate HACCP Teams.
Phase 2- this task involved educating/training the entire plant of 300
associates about the principals of HACCP.
Specific in depth training was provided to all plant associates that will
have the primary responsibility for monitoring Hazardous Critical Control
Points.

Position: Research Food Scientist
My Primary mission was to formulate a major spaghetti sauce ($100 million
in annual sales- Home-Style Spaghetti Sauce) brand. I was Successful in
rolling-out the brand across two production facilities.
Additional responsibilities included researching alternate sources of
ingredient supplies across the brands and implementing those enhancements.
