on Aviation Fuel Management and Fuel Quality Control. My last position with Engen

Aviation Inspector and Fuel Manager of Kimberley airport.

operations at these airports, compile a report and do recommendations for improvements

MY GOAL:

I am very interested in Fuel facility inspection and safety audits and have passion for safety and training of staff.

Ultimately I would like to become more involved in training and ideally would like to see the establishment of a

single training facility for persons in the aviation refuelling industry allowing such a person to obtain a certificate

or similar acknowledgement of his training. At present there is no training facility in South Africa where persons

working or aspiring to work in the Aviation refuelling industry can be trained to prove competence and each oil

company and or airport is conducting their own training programme. Ideally there should be a facility where

aviation refuellers and depot staff can be trained to an acceptable and high standard complying with Joint

International Guidelines.
