Developed procedures for use of TENS, NEMS, and traction devices in order to
begin investigating patients’ needs and establishing an optimal approach for each
patient fitting.
Developed and designed various marketing and certifications for device sales
personnel.
Instructed several hundred patients on the proper use, and care of their doctor

Managed Moissanite business segment/product line. Ownership of product line included
responsibility for all aspects of process and quality control, production planning, financial
results, contract negotiations as well as direct outside customer relations.
Improved product yields by nearly 300% and implemented larger product resulting in a
nearly $6,000,000 annual savings.
Drove product revenue from $4,000,000 to over $16,000,000 annually in less than a 2 year
period while requiring only 25% increase in manufacturing resources.
Improved margin to over 65%.
Designed and implemented an unmounted wafer polish processing modification
resulting in a conservative $1,600,000 annualized savings and an 80% reduction
in thickness variation. This project was presented to the Cree Board of Directors as
an example of major advancements made by the Materials Division.
Reduced per wafer polishing costs by over 50% by establishing various process,
quality, and efficiency improvements. This drove the Polish Department to 20%
below budgeted cost target. It was the only department to be at or below budget at
that time.
Improved Material Sales yields by 25% through root cause analysis of scratch
rework. Implemented preventive measures to guard against recurrence.
Significantly reduced abrasive consumption associated with polishing and lapping
resulting in $380,000 in cost savings.
Reduced UCL and LCL of surface finishes (Ra/Rz) through implementation and
maintenance of process control.
Specified, designed, and modified Speedfam equipment to meet demanding needs of a
silicon carbide polishing process.
