Goal: I am looking for work that is part time, rewarding, and interesting.

Work history:

Armstrong Center for Medicine and Health. I was hired as a generalist medical technologist (September 2, 1980), since that time, I have advanced within the institution to the position of Technical Director of the laboratory. My work involves the oversight of all areas of operation of the laboratory. I am responsible for budget preparation, payroll, policy and procedure, and regulatory compliance. I have been in this position for 17 years.

From September 2003 through July 2013, I worked at Butler County Community College, serving in an adjunct faculty position. I taught two levels of anatomy and physiology, and also microbiology.

Education

Masters in Healthcare Administration. University of Phoenix (online) 2007.

Slippery Rock University, BS Medical Technology. ASCP certified August 1980.

Karens City High School, 1975.

Interests

I enjoy cooking and baking, sewing, reading and teaching others. I love working with computers.
