Interests & Activities

I played competitive soccer for 14+ years, 4 seasons being a FIFA certified

referee as well. I won the 'heart & soul' award my senior year of high

school for my absolute dedication to the success of our team. I am

interested in the energy sector-broadly, including mining/drilling,

transport, refining, electric production, transmission, etc. I follow news

about the Grid broadly, including activities by electric co-ops to address

the changing face of delivery, security, & pollution reduction

technologies. River canoeing has long been a deep passion, to the point

where I have mapped out a 2200 mile route to the Gulf of Mexico from the

headwaters of the Allegheny in PA with a look into the changing face of

electric production along the waterway. My ultimate goal is to map the

location along the river trail of every utility-scale electric producer,

the areas to which they supply electric, & the original location of their

fuel so that I can track in real time, where the energy came from that is

being consumed in my presence. Appalachian culture & music is of particular

interest to me.
