I was hired for this position by Banda to work for carpenter on the
Carpenter Technology Athens, AL Stainless Steel Plant project. I worked
with a great team finishing up the project. My responsibility was to
inspect the electrical sub-contractors work and make sure it was done as
specified by the design electrical engineer. I also helped with
communication between Turner and the sub-contractors in directing work and
assisting them with any problems they might encounter.

Electrical Maintenance Supervisor (2006 - 2013)
I managed maintenance projects underground. I supervised and directed up to
twelve electricians, and varying numbers of electrician trainees to keep
underground equipment and electrical systems in proper working condition.
We repaired or replaced equipment as needed to keep the mine safe and
productive. We worked aggressively and effectively when called to restart
production after a breakdown with safety as the number one focus.
My shift achieved 98.8% production efficiency on the shift worked.
I helped write and directed planned maintenance programs on three
continuous mining sections and two long walls. When the coordinator was off
I assumed his role. Five to six supervisors reported and took instruction
from me. In my role as a supervisor also involved training incoming salary
personnel in maintenance supervision.

Supervised, designed and inspected electrical system projects supplying
power to three underground mines, seventeen ventilation fans, and all
associated outside belts and elevators. Kept the mines producing by
efficient use of planned maintenance programs and aggressive repair work
when any critical systems would break down.
