The work of this position involves cost benefits (Strategic planning)
and management, in concert with coordinating and monitor procurement the
technical aspects of computer work with administrative matters with the
Information Technology/Management (IT/IM) as well as the (NMCI/COSC)
Customer Technical Representative. The position involves serving as the
Customer Technical Representative (CTR) for the Navy Marine Corp
Intranet (NMCI) and Continuity of Service Contract (COSC) in Support of
the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW). The CTR duties include
planning for transition/cutovers, technology refresh; application
management, and legacy reduction initiatives. Exercise analytical
techniques when gathering information from users defining work problems,
and developing procedures to resolve problems. Review requirements,
gather information, analyze data, compare alternatives, and resolve
problems. Use COT software in performance of duties. Communicate to
customers the NMCI business rules, policies and procedures. Assist with
invoices pre-screening, processing service Request Management (SRM)
services, and process move, add, change (MAC) services, as well as
monitor escalate NMCI issues to the appropriate DCTR. Use NMCI CTR tools
to accomplish task. Assist with Profiles/Accounts, asset data
verication, relocation so assets. Facilitate NMCI S drive permissions,
user group assignments and public folder creation and permissions for
NMCI user based on DCTR/ACTR guidance. Provide training support of local
customers.
Customer Support
Manages and coordinates the(NMCI/COSC)acquisition of information
technology assets, computer hardware, software and network
Infastructure.
. Assist and train customers in the use of the Navair IT Approval tool
which ensures compliance with IA security and Enterprise Architecture.
. Ensure that customers IT procurements meet and comply with Federal,
DOD, DON and Navair regulatory requirements.
. Provide customers with timely status on all phases of the procurement
process
. Coordinate IT equipment deliveries between the customer and the
shipping company or from FISC local receiving on base
. Contact the customer when their purchase has arrived so that
arrangements can be made for the procurements to be picked up.
Serve as the FRC-SW AACTR (Customer Technical Representative) with
NMCI/COSC providing the following duties:
Activity Customer Technical Representative (ACTR)
. Develops and updates Annual Site Requirements Plan with Competency
NMCI POCs, and Level 1's and 2's. Forwards input to DCTR.
. Coordinates technology refreshment with EDS (scheduling with customer
/ EDS). Provides schedule and summary report to DCTR (format to be
determined).
. Analyzes monthly reports (ordered vs. received, pre-invoices, invoices
and 100 percent payment) for receipt of services.
. Verifies requirements are within the Demand Model limits prior to CTR
submitting an order to eMarketplace from NET.
. Approves and tracks MACs. Monitors MACs to ensure allotment is not
exceeded.
. Ensures NMCI POCs are informed of NMCI status, order, and process
guidance, etc.
. Infrastructure recommendations / resolutions
. Local policy / procedure promulgation in accordance with NAVAIR
guidelines
