Provided many years of service in Electrical Engineering with ten years in

supervision; supervised small groups, all inclusive, engineers, designers

and Cad operators. Responsibilities associated with positions held were

that of electrical engineering, design, management, schedules, preparation

of project(s) budget, estimates, electrical standards, department

procedures, design and technical review/approval, project review, system

studies, client/corporate interfaces, construction interface, installation

and Start up support. Experience includes electrical designs up to and

including 230KV systems, power circuit analysis, protective devices,

calculations, safety reviews and design verification; Scopes of work

preparation, system descriptions, vendor bid evaluations for the

procurement of equipment. Prepared equipment specifications, construction

. Project Engineer

Currently, Supporting freeze protection (heat tracing)

activities in Retrieval and Closure, C-tank farm area. Provided

design to localize and monitor the heat tracing circuits and

thermocouples.

Responsible for providing technical engineering support and

oversight on the SST tank farm project(s) for all tank farm

areas. This included interface during design and construction

activities while cognizant of project cost, scope, and

schedule. Redesigned the electrical distribution systems

(twelve -12 tank farms) for efficiency and cost effectiveness

by deleting equipment that were no longer functional /

unnecessary and redesigning the system to minimize maintenance

cost.

Prepared preliminary design and procured a new Power Operation

Center (POC) with new electrical distribution equipment,

required for the transfer of waste to the Waste Treatment Plant

(WTP)

. Senior Electrical Engineer:

Power Plant Proposals - Provided engineering support,

specifications and estimates for multiple international (IEC)

and domestic projects. Development of conceptual one-lines and

bid packages for budgetary pricing, and overall estimating

support.

. Assigned to the JBEK alliance to provide engineering support to

DuPont projects at Sabine River Site in Orange, Texas. Duties

include electrical studies, Relay settings, estimates,

schedules, equipment requisitions and the review of design

documents to assure concurrence with DuPont and National

engineering standards.

. Assigned to Alcoa making intermittent visits to Alcoa Bauxite

facility in Jamaica supporting field activities and bringing

work back to the Houston office.

. Assigned to South America (Suriname) as Design Manager on the

Alliance between Aker Kvaerner and Alcoa. The assignment

involved modifications and updating of Alcoa Bauxite facility in

an effort to make the system more cost effective. Supervised

engineers and designer in modification of the electrical

distribution system. by extending the distribution system to

Afobaka, adding new switches to the switch yard and upgrading

the communication system (e.g. equipment/repeaters) linking it

back to the main control room in Paramaribo City.

. Petronas and Union Carbide (Malaysia): The project will cause

an increase in production of ethane/propane. Contribution was

in the preparation of the bid package. Participated in the

preparation of the scope of work and design criteria. Wrote

specification for the 132 kV gas insulated switchgear, assisted

in the preparation of the single lines, provided preliminary

calculations for short circuit (utilizing ETAP and EDSA

programs) so that equipment can be selected.. Systems were

based on IEC, 50 cycles and voltages were 132, 11, 3.45 and

0.433 kV.

. G.E. Plastics - Bay St. Louis, Mississippi: Provided the

material requisitions and reviewed the system studies for the

SMA and Finishing Projects.

specifications and engineering estimates; coordinated individual

activities with other groups including equipment suppliers and

requirements as they related to electrical isolation/separation.

Additional assignments involved the interfacing and coordinating

with various disciplines regarding general review of equipment

"as received" vs. A/E drawings so as to resolve variances that
