SUMMARY
I have over ** years of experience as Webmaster, Information Systems
Analyst and application developer. During this period I have developed web
applications using mixed Classic ASP / ASP.net and SQL environments for
both Corporate Websites and Intranet portals. I have also had the
responsibility to manage and administer web servers (Windows NT, Windows
2005 & 2008), networks and web content as well. I have coordinated the
conceptualization and implementation of corporate-wide policies and
standards for web deployment.
As coordinator for Regional Operations for the Caribbean Region, I was in
charge of the elaboration of Annual Planning Programs and its
implementation at the National and Regional levels. These Annual Programs
included the Annual Information Technology and Communications Strategy for
the Region.
Additionally, I was responsible for designing, implementing, collecting and
disseminating data in research field trials for improved tropical pastures
in different ecosystems of tropical America. For this, I developed the
first ever computer based data collection, interpretation and analysis of
results which served as the basis for decision-making processes and
scientific publications. During this period (1993), I also developed the
first technical Web Page for the International Network for the Evaluation
of Tropical Forages in Central America and the Caribbean.
My experiences as a Sr. Research Assistant at first, as a Corporate Web
Site Manager secondly, and my recent involvement as technical liaison for
the Caribbean Countries, make me suitable candidate for filling necessary
requirements for positions demanding sound leadership, problem solving
skills, management and technical knowledge.
