Grew from a technology transfer engineer to a Manager in the Process

engineering department, leading a team of engineers for project execution.

Ingredients (APIs) and New Chemical Entities (NCEs) with Process R &

D.

> Took end to end responsibility of Udenafil API project process

validation in scaling up 4 times from 25 Kg to 100 Kgs with good

quality and achieving the desired PSD and TBD. (Capacity enhanced from

1.5 MT/Annum to 4 MT/ Annum).

> Contributed in brainstorming exercise in reducing number of steps from

12 to 4 in Prurisol project.

> Took end to end responsibilities in developing cost effective

Rivastigmine free base molecule and validated the same. This is Dr.

Reddy's first liquid API(Bulk) product. SPOC for this project.

> Scaled up and executed a 12 stage robust process of SLx-2119 and

delivered 50 kgs on time first time right from plant. (M$ 0.5 project)

> Contributed as a team member in validating the Abacavir free base and

Abacavir Hemisulphate molecule. (Only trouble shooting activities)

> As a team delivered a complex molecule GSK-53 in time and first time

right.

> Major contribution in developing a new anti-diabetic drug DR-2546.

> Successfully faced customer audit of MHRA standard for DR-2546

product.

> Capacity enhancement Q Acid production in 3rd party from 5 MT to 10

MT.

> Enhanced the production capacity from 50 Kg/Month to 200 Kg/Month of

Meropenem an antibacterial product.

controlled vacuum distillation.

Worked as Officer Project and Process Development Engineer in an ISO

9000:2000, ISO 14001, ISO 18000 and EHS certified plant. Manufacturers of

Pharma intermediate, Specialty chemical and Fine chemicals.
