Halliburton
Pre-tripping my vehicle and checking all equipment and tool’s that will be used for the job are up to specifications: Made necessary repairs. Kept up-to- date logs of equipments. Took equipment to bulk plant making sure it was correctly filled with the correct quantity and blend of product. Map out desired route to drilling rig. Two types of jobs performed in cementing. Bin-load: driving to drilling rig, either three tier or four tier bins have already been spotted by the bin loader for a future job. Meeting with the designated bin loader and first connecting a 4’ hose from my Fruehauf trailer to his bin. Next I set the PTO to the designated RPM’s required until the correct pressure on equipment is achieved. Using the correct levers I unload cement into bin while maintaining safe working pressure. After all cement is pumped into bin I release all pressure and disconnect hose. Job-Time: driving to drilling rig and connecting my 660 trailer to either bin or directly to pump truck. Laying 20ft joints of 2’ iron from pump truck to rig floor, then connecting to cement head on top of casing. Once equipment is ready I open valves, sending cement down hole making sure safe pressure is maintained. After the job is complete I rig down all iron. I am used to working very long hours. I have been working a 14 and 7 schedules. During my 14 day work period I have put in an average of 260 hours.
