. Hired to introduce trendsetter gasification already commercialized in

Finland, to the North America market for Metso Power.

. Developed a marketing plan; prepared marketing materials; identified

market base; made presentations at a number of technical conferences;

published in major technical journals; established long and short term

market base; two active opportunities were being developed to use sorted

municipal solid waste as gasifier feedstock.

. Successfully co-fired waste cooking oil with coal at Virginia Tech;

identified this fuel to displace #6 FO in NYC's public and private

buildings; successfully tested this same product as an emulsion in the

production of asphalt; successfully tested as primary fuel in ESSROC

cement kiln.

. Economic and technical feasibility study along with preliminary

engineering to convert Coast Guard facilities from distillate fuel to

wood pellets in Sitka, Alaska.

. Economic and technical analysis of using energy crops to produce liquid

fuels and for heat and/or power generation for NREL.

. NREL economic and technical feasibility of Co-Firing Biomass and Coal at

Moderately Sized DoD Facilities

. Preliminary feasibility study for an integrated CHP energy facility using

wood waste, fish waste and municipal solid waste to produce wood pellets,

bio-boiler fuel and fertilizer along with steam for process and

electricity for on-site use and for sale in Alaska.

Portland, Maine; involved from the proposal phase through startup. Lead
