JOB Responsibilities

o Day to day site inspection activities related to fabrication of

structure which includes material inspection, fit up,

dimensional checks, erection inspection

o Monitoring of welding works including joint preparation, fit up,

welding and final inspection.

o Final dimensional inspection covering verticality, plumb, etc

o Pre surveys walk through for the condition and status of structures,

equipment and piping prior to shut down and maintenance works.

o Identification of anomalies noted and reporting

o Development of scope for maintenance and inspection.

o Monitor the repair and refurbishment works

o Monitor NDT inspection activities.

o Inspection of various materials such as C-Mn Steels, LTCS, Cr-Mo,

Stainless Steels etc to drawings

o Inspection of consumables, their package, handling and storage and

reviewed batch test results

o Conduct Weld visual inspection and reviewed daily welding report

o Coordination with third party inspection agencies on inspection visits

o Inspection of dimensions, plumb out, straightness, ovality etc

o Review of Procedures, WPS & Welder Qualification

o Reviewed ISO, Spool fabrication drawings, Weld Map, NDE matrix

o Carry out welder qualification & performance test.

o Review of calibration of welding machines, baking and holding ovens

quivers, and inspection tools
