2014

involves many Product Development roles including leading engineering team,

managing program timing, customer interface with CAT team, launching

vehicles in Australia/Mexico/USA, driving quality disciplines, working

global sourcing/logistics, and meeting global regulatory requirements.

program back on-track and budget through use of milestone reviews, weekly

for over 80 commodities, saved $15M via on-line tooling quotes, and

improved tooling timing plans for key commodities.

. Delivered $250 per vehicle cost reduction effort ($25M annual

savings) with engineering, purchasing and finance through use of value-

cost mapping, cost benchmarking, feature trade-offs, and supplier

negotiations.

. Directed prototype build team that saved $1.5M while meeting crucial

delivery schedule for 80 prototype vehicles.

. Developed and executed 2009 Taurus X Eddie Bauer model that generated

$5M revenue increase using existing parts.

Managed 40 employee engineering team (body, chassis, powertrain,

located at Michigan Truck Plant that resolved plant and field quality
