Marketing and Leadership is my passion; therefore I am pursuing a career in Healthcare Leadership that

Director of Sales & Marketing Kingswood Senior Living (CCRC)

Nov. 2012 – Present

As the Director of Sales & Marketing my primary responsibilities are planning, developing, directing and

coordinating all aspects of the CCRC (Continuum Care Retirement Community) business model. This is

achieved through direct sales, brand execution, as well as developing and fostering relationships within and

outside the organization. All said duties are in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards,

Medicare guidelines, and regulations that govern long – term care, assisted living, and alternative health

limited to telephone calls, home or office visits, events, seminars, and tours.

• Manage all information relating to prospective resident inquiry: communication with

administration, communication with direct supervision, and accurate documentation of all

contacts in the Leads Management System.

Financial Management

Analyze and forecast financial data to ensure marketing and operational budgets are

Director of Community Relations Sunrise Senior Living

2011 – 2012

As the DCR my responsibilities included directing business development for the Lenexa team. Initiated,

developed and maintained relationships with key market business partners who include physicians, hospital

administrators, skilled nursing facilities (LTC) and rehabilitation organizations. The following is a

breakdown of my core duties and functions.

Move in and Admissions Process

Facilitated the Resident Assessment process with the Healthcare Coordinator and Assisted

Living/Reminiscence team.

Assisted Residents and their families in the selections of a Pharmacy provider.

Ensured all Sunrise and state required paperwork was completed before resident occupancy.

Managed and coordinated admissions process with hospital administrators, i.e. physicians,

nurses and social workers.
