Work Experience
* Engineer: Technical Application and Sales
Organization: Cosmos Impex (I) Pvt Ltd, India
[July 2012 - Dec 2012]
- Worked in different departments namely manufacturing, design, technical
services, application, and sales of the organization for the first
twelve months as a graduate engineer trainee
- Responsible for project execution, cycle time calculation, cutting tool
selection, designing of work holding device, process engineering, and
design modifications
- Responsible for understanding and coordinating client's needs /
enhancements, customization of product accordingly and consulting with
technical team for providing solutions in adherence to delivery
schedules
- Key products handled were vertical machining center, turning center,
horizontal machining center, vertical turning lathe, boring machines,
EDM, and wire cut machine
* Mechanical Engineer Intern
Organization: Cosmos Engitech, India
[Jan 2009 - May 2009]
- Worked with the Design and Manufacturing Department to model the
products according to the customer's
requirement and hand it to the Manufacturing team for production
- Acquired proficiency in Pro E and CNC programming because preparing
engineering drawing and looking over to manufacturing was also one of
the main responsibilities as a Mechanical Engineer Intern
- Hands on experience in operating Vertical Machining Center, Numeric
Control Grinding Machine, and Electro Discharge Machine
Research and Projects
* Image Processing based Overhead Crane, Sardar Patel University, India
Objective and background of research:
- Build the overhead crane that works at any place where human
interruption is prohibited
- Eradicated human intervention for automatic movement of crane without
vibration
- The model I made works on image processing. The image captured by the
camera goes the computer
after that image is being divided in the form of matrices. Then the
processor gives the command to the
system. After that the system lifts the object and places to desired
location
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Designed the concept of Image Processing based overhead crane
- Developed the 3D model of crane in AutoCAD
- Developed the algorithm for smooth motion of the crane and working
model
* Forward and Inverse Kinematics of Adept Viper s650, University of Texas,
Arlington
- Programming of Adept Viper s650 robot
- Developed Denavit Hartenberg Table and assignment of different
parameters
- Development of Forward and Inverse Kinematics, calculation of moment
of inertia, and algorithm for
movement of robot in 3D Space
