The objective of this project is to enable reports for clients
who are enrolled in Corporate MR program. Reports will be accessible by
clients via @Work in 3 markets - UK, Spain and Canada. The project is
divided into two separate work streams:
Data work stream -This work stream will ensure that all the data required
for Corporate MR client reporting is fed from source system (STAR) to
destination system (GDR/IRI). Graphs developed using ETL tool will
process STAR feeds, apply transformations and load into GCCP tables which
is replicated to IRI.
Reporting work stream - This work stream will ensure that Corporate MR
client reports are generated and made accessible to client's PA via
@work. The data for reports will be pulled from IRI.
Data work stream and Reporting work stream will together build the
capability to deliver reports to Corporate MR clients via @Work from where
they can get information on Corporate MR accounts, MR points earned,
transactions via which they have earned MR points, listing of card members
in MR program, MR redemptions and MR fees. The overall Corporate MR program
is initiated to deliver these Corporate MR reports by leveraging existing
@work platform via which clients currently access reports.

PROJECT#3 : Jet Fuel CID & Legal Entity Details
Designation : Lead
Environment : Ab Initio, UNIX, DB2
Duration : Jun'2012 to Apr'2013
Description:
In 2011, American Express enabled the capability for Air Canada to
purchase jet fuel in USD from Canadian merchants utilizing the American
Express Global Dollar Card via the Buyer Initiated Payments tool.
Regulatory reporting requires that the accounts receivable and
corresponding remittances be recorded in financial books of Amex Bank of
Canada. The current process records receivables and remittance to IDC
financial books and then reclassifies them to the financial books of Amex
Bank of Canada by manual transactions.
The purpose of this project is to automate a current manual process of
re-classifying financials for Air Canada to the be booked as Amex Bank of
Canada. The solution will contain the flexibility to handle future legal
entities. A one time conversion will be needed for the existing CID. For
future CIDS, attachment of a legal entity will need to occur at CID
set-up.
