service provider. AMEX issues corporate cards to its corporate clients

through which it helps companies and institutions to manage their travel,

PROJECT#1 : DFF (Data File Factory)

Description:

Under this application, we are working on multiple projects at

the same time. It is similar to agile/sprint process. CFE team will push

files to our download directory that will be transformed and processed by

DFF team and then FTPed to client servers. Each requirement will be

completed in one- three weeks of time.

Description:

The objective of this project is to enable reports for clients

who are enrolled in Corporate MR program. Reports will be accessible by

clients via @Work in 3 markets - UK, Spain and Canada. The project is

divided into two separate work streams:

Data work stream -This work stream will ensure that all the data required

for Corporate MR client reporting is fed from source system (STAR) to

destination system (GDR/IRI). Graphs developed using ETL tool will

process STAR feeds, apply transformations and load into GCCP tables which

is replicated to IRI.

Reporting work stream - This work stream will ensure that Corporate MR

client reports are generated and made accessible to client's PA via

@work. The data for reports will be pulled from IRI.

Data work stream and Reporting work stream will together build the

capability to deliver reports to Corporate MR clients via @Work from where

they can get information on Corporate MR accounts, MR points earned,

transactions via which they have earned MR points, listing of card members

in MR program, MR redemptions and MR fees. The overall Corporate MR program

is initiated to deliver these Corporate MR reports by leveraging existing

@work platform via which clients currently access reports.

Description:

In 2011, American Express enabled the capability for Air Canada to

purchase jet fuel in USD from Canadian merchants utilizing the American

Express Global Dollar Card via the Buyer Initiated Payments tool.

Regulatory reporting requires that the accounts receivable and

corresponding remittances be recorded in financial books of Amex Bank of

Canada. The current process records receivables and remittance to IDC

financial books and then reclassifies them to the financial books of Amex

Bank of Canada by manual transactions.

The purpose of this project is to automate a current manual process of

re-classifying financials for Air Canada to the be booked as Amex Bank of

Canada. The solution will contain the flexibility to handle future legal

entities. A one time conversion will be needed for the existing CID. For

future CIDS, attachment of a legal entity will need to occur at CID

set-up.

environments. Once keyed in E1 the data can be copied over to E2 using

the ETL process.

provide support to implement PAC servers (linked to CFD platform) for the

Mexico market with the purpose of sealing and certifying the invoices,

credit notes and statements in the requested format by the SAT authority.
