OBJECTIVE

To obtain employment in a medical field as a Medical Assistant. I

am seeking employment in a fast paced medical setting in which I

have the ability to use my clinical skills.

was the only employee the Physician had so therefore I was doing

everything.

Worked as a clinical Medical Assistant in this Podiatric Office. My

job description includes rooming patients (average pt load of 45-60

daily), obtained X-rays of the feet and ankles, suture removal,

padding, splinting, postop care and wound care. I was also responsible

for scheduling various procedures such as MRI's, referrals to other

offices, scheduling surgeries, ordering office supplies and assist in

answering phones. I started working as a receptionist a few days a

week answering phones, scheduling appointments and entering insurance

information and demographics into our Allscripts program.

Temporary position through this company working with Sparrows TCI

cardiology clinics. I worked with EMR in these clinics. My

responsibilites were to obtain all Patient history, EKG's on all

patients, obtain and update medical history as well as enter into EMR

and enter incoming lab values into system.

Family Practice Office/clinical. Initial Patient assessments with

Vitals. Assist the physician with various procedures including

papsmears, in office surgical procedures, flu mono, strept, H-pylori

and urine tests, EKG's and PFT's. I also did prescription requests

when required. I worked front office and programs used in this

position were Polci and Horizon Practice computer software. I answered

phones, triaged and scheduled appointments when needed and check in

and check out of Patients.

The Physician and I would on an average day see between 40 and 50

patients in a 8 hour shift so I kept very busy. I really enjoyed the

fast paced work.
