* 14 years plus solid experience as Unix Specialist (AIX/SUN/HP/Linux) working with institutions like banking, gov’t and oil & gas.

* Intensive experience in DATACENTER migration & server consolidation from legacy server to IBM LPAR virtual unix

environment including large application (databases for instance) migration & upgrade.

* Strong scripting & system programming skills in KORN/BOURNE shell, BASH & PERL & some sql programming skills.

In general the task covers: devised methods & solution to backup/restore including disaster recovery strategies, implementing system security hardening & security policy/monitoring implementation, provide input to firewall traffic policies, system programming & configuration, provide support to application fine-tuning, performance optimization or troubleshooting, provide primary input to project planning & the design of system/application architecture in combination with the network infrastructure information.

* Good background in security policy analysis, implementation, security hardening configuration and many others.
