Project Description:

The project involves providing L3 support to Wholesale Banking System (WBS)

in Treasury Payments Services Technology group at Bank of America. WBS is

an integrated wholesale system which delivers global products and services

to the Bank's customers. WBS comprises of a number of integrated systems on

IBM compatible mainframes, which provide on-line banking services. It also

provides automated links between departmental functions, branch processing,

the telecommunications network and corporate customers. This is a

maintenance project involving following tasks, Providing on call support

for applications including abend resolutions, Routine application

maintenance.

Responsibilities:

. Understanding the functionality of the application.

. Prepared program specifications

. Documented business and technical requirements and functional

specifications using Waterfall SDLC methodology.

Project Description:

Strata Master Index which is a part of Image Utilities under Transaction

Services Technologies group. This application deals with the Check Images

and their processing as per the Check 21 Act passed in USA. His

responsibilities included analysis of new requirements, creating high level

and detail level design artifacts, estimation and forecasting, software

development, UNIT and SIT testing, software configuration & release

management, production deployment and validation.

The Transaction Services - Technology Group (TST) within BANA provides

check, deposit, lockbox and cash processing; statement rendering and cash

vault services for Bank of America customer households and businesses.TST

has Image utility, Strata Master Index, Business Bridge, Deposit/Debit

Technology (Statements, Recon, Compliance Processing and Image Capture).

The project addresses the following aspects of the Bank's needs: Design /

Document the High Level Design, Design / Document the Low Level Design,

Development and Support, Unit Testing / Component Integration Testing &

System Integration Testing. Different groups within the project specialize

in different life cycle stages. The project is responsible for implementing

initiatives end-to-end i.e. from Requirements till roll-out.
