SALES AND KEY MANAGERIAL EXPERIENCE

HSBC AUTO FINANCE, San Diego, CA 2005 – 2008

Assistant Vice President / Regional Sales Manager (2006-2008) Los Angeles, CA

• From 2006 to 2008, managed sales territory for northern Los Angeles and all of Ventura Counties for this dealer

indirect auto finance until operations ceased in October 2008. Signed 30 new dealers.

• I improved territory performance to a top 15 performer from the bottom 40 out of 145 territories when territory

was taken over in December 2005. Volume increase was 300% on average.

• Improved annual origination funding 263% ($58 Million by the end of 2007 from previous level of $22 Million

annually). I developed and maintained the largest account in the company with an average funding of $1

Million per month versus the company average of less than $100K per month, a 1000% increase over average.

• Won corporate awards for top 20 funding levels including 2007 Annual Triple Crown Award in January of 2007,

two Trimester Triple Crown Awards for 3rd Trimester 2006 as well as the first two Trimesters of 2007.

• Signed and serviced the company’s number one independent dealership relationship measured by volume and

portfolio loss performance in a bank known to be unfriendly to independent auto dealerships.

Assistant Vice President / Credit and Funding Operations Manager (2005) San Diego, CA

• In 2005 served as Credit and Funding Operations Manager and managed all operations of Credit Underwriting,

Loan Funding Originations with 20 direct reports at our corporate office in San Diego.

• In this role, I helped expand the Southern California Region origination volume by over 10% and credit quality

improved dramatically according to internal corporate measures, such as Weighted Average Risk (WAR) and

Charge Off performance.

• Earned and maintained a $100,000 line of credit on Prime and Non-Prime car loan approvals and loan

originations through negotiation and use of credit and funding exceptions where advisable and warranted.

• Under my direction, absenteeism and tardiness was virtually eliminated through careful and consistent

progressive discipline and development of dysfunctional tenured and new-hired associates.

• Served on Credit Policy, Associate Involvement, Fraud Resolution, and Customer Identity Verification (KYC)

committees. Served on Six Sigma and Dealer Segmentation focus groups-both of which reported directly to

the Managing Director of HSBC Auto Finance.

WFS FINANCIAL, Irvine, CA 1996 – 2005

Assistant Vice President / Regional Collections Center Manager Woodland Hills, CA

• Managed a call center servicing a $700 Million auto loan portfolio with an average of 35 associates with a

maximum of 55. I had 4-6 supervisors reporting to me.

• Won “Making a Difference” corporate award for achievement of redesign of Back-end Collection Workflow

Platform in 2003 by the then-chairman of the board of directors, Ernest J. Rady.

• I was hand-picked by executive management to head the project responsible for redesigning the Loan

Servicing platform, resulting in direct associate accountability and ease of organization of loan collection within

the branches.

• Created and implemented Standard and Goals for each position in the center, based on empirical data.

• Co-designed the daily productivity report which batched and compiled associate performance metrics

company-wide which is still in use today. The report is completely automated and draws from batched data in

the data warehouse.

• Achieved a 20% or higher Return on Capital from 1999 through 2004, resulting in the 2nd highest profitability

annually and top overall profitability among all 44 branches for the 5 year period.

• Reduced Charge Off performance from 4.00% in 1998 triggered by a corporate reorganization to an average of

less than 1.50% from 1999 through 2005. Reduced and maintained Loan Delinquencies to an average of

2.25% or lower on average from 1999 through 2005, from 4.50% in 1998 when the organization reorganized.

• Successfully transitioned call center during corporate reorganization of 1998 and executed related personnel

changes successfully, including transfers, layoffs and firings. I then staffed the department with hand-picked

replacements. Over 75% stayed with the firm for over 5 years subsequently. Five reporting supervisors were

promoted to call center manager in other centers under my development.

• Reduced turnover to lowest level among all 44 branches in 2003, despite challenging economic conditions.

RECENT BANKING EXPERIENCE

BANK OF AMERICA HOME LOANS, Los Angeles, CA 2010 – CURRENT

Specialist, Trustee Special Projects, Simi Valley, CA

• Contractor who went Permanent as of March 2012 due to acumen and perfect attendance and punctuality.

• As Specialist, made recommendations regarding pending foreclosure sales to loan servicers, resulting in

less beneficiary reversion sales unfavorable to their bottom line. Delayed risky or out of compliance sales.

• Reviewed assignments and substitutions for accuracy, resulting in a reduction in re-conveyances to HUD.

• Monitored servicer mail box, tracked its volume for management and maintained SLA on 100% of all

requests.

• Updated and completed servicer-generated system tasks, improving SLA from 15% to 100% in 6 months.

• Evaluated and reviewed new and open foreclosure referrals. Accurately made determinations and

recommendations on beneficiary requests and provided expert and accurate communications regarding

non-judicial foreclosure processes, helping reduce foreclosure sales by 90% by 2012.

SELF EMPLOYED, STEARNS VIDEO, ET AL, Simi Valley, CA 2008 – 2012

Independent Consultant, Medical Sales, Finance Marketing, and Sports Videographer

• From 2010-2012, produced game film on video media and organized web-based video media for High

School football coaching staffs, using all formats including Blu-ray HD.

• In 2010, marketed out-of-state bank relationships which piggy-backed extended warranty products and

GAAP contract sales. I was forced to leave this position as these banks all withdrew from the Southern

California market citing high credit losses in the recession.

• In 2008-2009, consulted for Automotive vendors (repossession agents) seeking to market to dealerships

and lending institutions, and marketed safe-smoking alternative medical devices.
