Design Engineer (April-2011-Dec 2011) As Offshore support for GE Oil & Gas

Houston, USA.

Task involves mainly CAD activities i.e. Design modifications and ECN for

Tubing hanger components.

Onsite deputation: From Jan 2012 to Dec 2012 (One Year)

Position: Additional Design Reviewer.

Company: GE OIL & GAS, ABERDEEN, SCOTLAND (UK)

Responsibilities involves

1. QC (design & drafting standards) of the drawings of subsea production

Equipments.

2. Taking basic and conceptual inputs from the Principal designers to

produce high integrity package deliverables like3D modelling,

assemblies, detail drawings using pro/e and auto cad, BOM preparation for

subsea production equipments (well head components and other subsea parts

as per API & GE standards.)

3. Project Title: Tolerance stack-up analysis for wellhead, THS and x-mass

tree.

Description: Tolerance stack up analysis done for the entire assembly using

the root square sum or RSS method in a loop wise manner i.e. In loop 1

includes between wellhead systems and PGB,Loop 2 includes HP housing to

THS,loop 3 includes THS to tree flow loop hub and loop 4 includes Tubing

hanger to x-mass tree

4. Schematic Work Package on piping for LRP assembly using Pro/piping.

Description:

. Understanding the LRP equipment & Schematic( P & ID) drawings.

. Routing of hydraulic lines based on the Schematic drawings by for

the entire LRP assembly package.

. Routing connection to every component on LRP assemble based on the

Schematic provided, generation of individual pipe drawings, weld

maps Drawings & layout assembly drawing with all the clamping

details as per GE Oil & Gas standards.

. Preparation Layout drawing for the LRP system with brackets

placements and their positioning, pipe fittings and fittings

sequence.

. ALM document preparation for manufacturing purpose.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

Position: Senior Engineer.

Company: Quest Global, India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, From April 2006-April

2011.

Client: GE Oil & Gas Vecto gray controls Ltd, Nailsea (UK).

Scope Of work: Modeling, detailing and creation of manufacturing

drawings of SDU and UTA assemblies, including parts like Top &

bottom cover, stab plates, parking plates, cross beams, hinge device, SDU

mounting base and mud foot,ROV grab bar,etc.

Onsite assignment: worked at client location Vetco Gray controls Ltd.

Nailsea, Bristol (United Kingdom) for a period of 105 days

Duration: From Feb 08-May 08.

Exposure to development projects like

.SEM (3-Bay, 2-Bay and single Bay) such as Front end assembly,

Transformer assembly, card frame and end cap assembly and

modifications of various parts of SEM.

.SCM such as Base plates, centre columns, T-shirt manifolds, 6-pack

manifolds, pod lock assembly, Test block, SEM pressure vessel,

DCV's and modifications of various parts of SCM.

.EDU (Electronics distribution unit) UTA mounted: Scope of work is to

design a foundation structure for a UTA & Frame fabrication for

EDU.

.Shipping frame for SCM: Scope involves designing a tilt table to an

acute angle for the shipment of SCM.Work involves selection of

angles, channels as per EN10025 S275.
